Junior Turtle Team

Tuesday, June 22nd @ 10:30 am HH Picnic Area

Calling all Dewees Island youth!  If you are interested in becoming a member of the Dewees island Turtle Team and assisting during morning patrols, then please plan to attend this training event with a parent.  The program will last about 1 hour.

Seed Bombs

Friday, June 25th through Sunday, June 27th @ HH Picnic Area

Stop by and Celebrate Pollinator Week by making Seed Bombs to help our local beneficial insects. This self-guided family activity will be available through the weekend and will include instructions for making and planting seed bombs.

Intro to Birding

Saturday, June 26th @ 9 am Landings Building

Learn tips and tricks for identifying common summer birds on Dewees Island.  Bring binoculars.  The program will last about 1 hour.

Family Movie Night

Monday, June 28th @ 6:30 pm HH Picnic Area.

Bring your sleeping bag, pillow and a snack and join the Dewees Island Conservancy Interns for a nature themed PG movie. 

Dewees Adventure

Tuesday, June 29th @ 9:30 am Landings Building

Do you have what it takes to complete the Dewees Adventure? If so, gather your team of up to 6 people and meet at the Huyler House. Teams will travel around using clues that will test their island knowledge to complete various challenges. Please bring water, sunscreen and a pen/pencil and wear clothes that can get muddy and wet.
