The Four Top Notes, 4 Women 8 Hands
Saturday, June 4th, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Huyler House

The Four Top Notes is an 8-hand, 2-piano, 4-women piano ensemble that plays classical to pop music for audiences in the Low Country. Their 45 to 60 minute program includes selections from their repertoire that ranges from ragtime to Rachmaninoff, famous composers to lesser known ones. Audience participation is an enjoyable element of every concert, adding laughter to the serious listening. The four musicians are all current or prior piano teachers and lifelong pianists with a love of sharing music with the public.

The Dynamic Shoreline of Dewees
Friday, June 24th, 11:30 am – 12:30 pm at the Huyler House Great Room

Historical photo presentation of the Dewees Island Beach by Dr. Leslie Sautter.

Dr. Sautter will showcase changes on the front beach from 2002 to 2016.

Potluck lunch to follow 12:30 to 1:30 pm.  Please bring your favorite dish to share.  BYOB

Hosted by the ERB and DIC. Open to the community.

Background:  Dr. Sautter has been working with the Dewees Island Community since 2006 helping to document the dynamic coast of dewees island through geomorphology surveys and aerial overflights.
