Winter is over. We hope!
Despite the harsh winter, spring is here. You can feel it in the afternoons, and you can see it if you look very closely at the trees and bushes. Everything is in transition.
The wildlife has been active all winter, but we are out more, and consequently we see the activity. Racoons are looking for nesting places. Deer are hunting for fresh vegetation. Snakes have begun to come out of hibernation, so keep an eye out as they re-acquaint themselves with their surroundings.
You will see more baitfish in the spring, and that means more activity for the birds and predators. Inshore fishing is always good, but it gets more enjoyable with a beautiful sunrise.
