Coyotes are one of the most misunderstood animals in our area. Much research on coyotes has been conducted at the Savannah River Site since their arrival. Sean Poppy, from the Savannah River Ecology Lab will present information on their natural history to foster a better understanding of why they are here and what can be done to lessen any negative interactions with them. He will cover such topics as general life history, the pros and cons of having them around and some tips on avoidance. Please make plans to attend this presentation; if you are unable to attend the presentation this Saturday it will be videotaped. Details on how to watch the taped presentation will be available next week.
All ages welcome.
After the presentation please stay and have lunch.
Please bring a potluck dish to share or your own brown bag lunch.
Hosted by the ERB.
